Terms and Conditions

  • MV Addiction is solely available to book an exclusive full boat booking for 8 passengers (unless indicated otherwise by managing director Dickinson).

  • In order to confirm your spot, a $8,000.00 USD NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE deposit is required.

  • A second NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE deposit of $12,000 USD for the charter is due in our account in the first week of January 2025 .  The trip deposits are non-refundable as we turn away other groups for the dates you book once deposits are received.

  • The final balance is due in our account THREE months (90 days) prior to trip departure date.

  • If you indicate that you want to book the whole boat then you are responsible for paying the full boat price regardless of how many guests you bring in your group. Depositing and then deciding later that you no longer want the full boat does not release you from your obligation to pay the full boat price.

  • Maximum number of guests on MV Addiction boat charters is 8 unless previously arranged with Dickinson.

  • There are no refunds or partial refunds given for poor surf, inclement weather or changes to a charter itinerary due to mechanical or logistical problems.

What’s Included

  • Transfers to and from Padang airport

  • Use of tender for fishing and exploratory trips ashore

  • Use of fishing and snorkling equipment

  • Three gourmet meals per day

  • Snacks and fruit

  • Non-alcoholic refreshments such as bottled water, hot drinks soft drinks and juices

  • 20 cases of Bintang per trip

  • Use of onboard entertainment systems including DVD video and stereo

  • Use of all MV Addiction onboard equipment and amenities.

 

 

What’s Not Included

  • Photo Service (always available US$230/person)

  • Mentawaii Surfer Tax - 100US$ per surfer

  • Airline tickets

  • Travel Insurance (compulsory for all guests, including medivac coverage and coverage for lost charter days)

  • Alcoholic Drinks other than Bintang described above, (Passengers are welcome to stock up on beer at local prices prior to departure). If requested a wine list can be forwarded for passengers wishing to purchase specific wines and spirits before departure. A minimum of 90 days notice is required for specific orders.

  • Tips for the crew. Tips typically start around US$100 and up. If you’ve had a really good time and the crew’s been outstanding, let them know! Please give all tips for the Indonesian crew to Chef Tony. Tony will disperse the tips evenly between the crew members.
